Common Wading Birds Of florida White Ibis :) we will start with birds first and work are way too insects and wildflowers :)


The White ibis hmmm what can i say about this bird lets say  this bird is just beautiful i love its color its bill everything about the white ibis is unique when you see it fly its like oh look at that birds beak lol its so funny what does he do with that long beak you might wonder well i know you all see sometimes these birds get kind of comfy around people they get kind of up close and personal  sometimes cuz people like to feed them stuff they should not be feeding these birds there beak is not made for eating bread its made for eating insects , worms and stuff out of the ground, snakes and small crustaceans  as well, also another unique adaptation the adult breeding adult of the white ibis the beak gets to a bright bright red during mating season which is a really amazing sight to see if you ever see that its pretty amazing and a lot of birders as beginners get kind of confused when they see a younger ibis they all might think oh is this a different species of ibis no its just immature white ibis trying to grow into an adult beautiful adult breeding red beaked one :) well i can go on and on about the white ibis here are some of my photos of them and hey if you ever would like to see some adult breeding ones i know some places where you can find some here in the florida area just let me know and ill take you out and ill show ya :)

here is one photo i got of  white ibis this one unfortunetley does not have full adult breeding features but it does got one dirty beak huh lol  heres another one below kinda with more reddish colors :) on its bill

  1. Saw many White and Glossy and one White-Faced. First Snail Kite. Was in Florida in April. Saw 1st Worm-eating Warbler at Crane Creek west of Cleveland
